While the foundation of our work is behavior analytic in nature our passion for play helps make learning fun! We believe that effective therapy is evidence-based, naturalistic and individualized. 

 

Stacy Asay, BCBA, LBA

Stacy Asay is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst, and Licensed Social Worker. She received her BA in Psychology from Hunter College, CUNY, and her MSW from Columbia University's School of Social Work.

She has provided home and school-based services to children and their families for over 20 years. Stacy worked on developing curriculum and co-facilitating weekly social skills groups for Little Mixers in Park Slope before moving on to teaching as an adjunct in the Applied Behavior Analysis program at Hunter College.

Her interest in finding ways to facilitate play skills with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders led to the creation of Hooray For Play! which is a card deck that guides parents and educators in facilitating pretend play. Stacy is originally from Wyoming but has called New York home for almost 19 years and currently lives in Brooklyn.


Anne Zaccardi, BCBA, LBA

Anne Zaccardi is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst and a New York State Certified Special Educator. She earned her BA in Psychology from Rutgers College and her MA in Special Education from NYU.

Anne has 18 years of experience teaching in the New York City area. She has taught in classroom and home-based settings, working with children with special needs and providing family support. She is committed to creating effective instruction that is individualized and tailored to the unique abilities and needs of each learner.

Anne loves to facilitate each child’s ability to function and thrive among peers and in the classroom. She particularly enjoys fostering a love of learning through play. Anne has a particular interest in finding creative ways to embed target goals and skills in community-based activities. A lifelong New Yorker, Anne currently resides in Brooklyn.
